Cameron King, P.I. Eng, MBA

President & CEO
-29 years of oil and gas experience, prior to Kaisen serving as VP Operations at WestFire Energy

-Prior thereto was Senior Manager of Operations with Penn West, responsible for operating activities averaging 70,000 boe/d of production

-In addition, Mr. King has worked in various capacities for Northrock Energy and Husky Energy with a focus on heavy oil


Jeff Holmgren, CA

Senior VP Finance & CFO
-Over 15 years of oil and gas experience, prior to Kaisen serving as VP Finance and CFO at WestFire Energy

-Previously with ProEx Energy Ltd., Progress Energy Ltd., Rodinia Oil (VP CFO) and PetroFrontier Oil (VP CFO), extensive involvement with capital market development and financial oversight

-Began career with Ernst & Young LLP with a focus on domestic and international oil and gas

Chris McGinnis, P.Eng, MBA

Vice President Operations
-Mr. McGinnis joined Kaisen as Vice President, Operations & Engineering, in April 2013. He has over 15 years of oil and gas experience, where prior to Kaisen, he held Development and Production Engineering Manager roles at PennWest. In addition, Chris held production, facility, and exploitation engineering roles with Husky Energy, Acclaim Energy, and Canetic Resources, all focused on heavy oil where he spent over 7 years living/working in Lloydminster as a field based engineer. Mr. McGinnis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, and an MBA from Royal Roads University. He is a practicing member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).


Andy Kramchynski, P. Geol

Vice President Exploration
-Over 30 years of oil and gas experience, most recently served as president of Tandem Energy, a private E&P company

-Mr. Kramchynski has a diverse background within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) including the heavy oil Mannville sands.


Anton Esterhuizen, B.Comm LLB

Manager Business Development & Land
-Over 14 years of experience in strategic oil & gas business development involving mergers, acquisitions & divestitures and various land transactions to the value of $6 billion. Prior thereto 11 years of experience as a lawyer and business owner in South Africa.

-Previously with Penn West Petroleum, serving in various lead roles within the Land Department & Business Units and most recently as Manager, Business Development & Acquisitions and Divestitures.
